Cherry Creek North multi-site tour

Join fellow AIA Colorado members for a guided architectural tour of two new commercial office projects in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood: 2nd and Adams and 242 Milwaukee.

The tour will explore the design and technical execution of contemporary five-story office buildings, with particular attention to how traditional masonry and high-performance glass systems balance structural demands, energy efficiency, daylight, and occupant well-being. Moving through the projects floor by floor, participants will examine the exterior ground plane, main lobby, future restaurant spaces, an upper-floor buildout, and a future rooftop restaurant.

Along the way, the tour will highlight thermal mass, high-performance glazing, structural detailing, daylight optimization, and occupant-centered space planning, giving members an opportunity to see how these strategies come together in two of Cherry Creek’s newest commercial projects.

The tour begins at 3250 E. 2nd Ave. and will also visit 242 N. Milwaukee St. Street parking and building garage parking are available.

PPE will be needed for the 242 Milwaukee tour: 

• Hardhat, closed shoes, vest, and safety glasses.
