Chev Lane Clothes Swap & Marketplace - Preloved & Upcycled
Event description
Bring up to 10 items of clean, good quality clothes to swap and we will give you a token for something new. All styles and sizes welcome.
An affordable and sustainable alternative to buying new.
Choose to swap or shop at our dedicated marketplace area where you can also purchase second hand clothing from local resellers or explore Chev Lane's collection of designers and artists offering up-cycled items, art accessories and more.
There will plenty of spaces to sit down, settle in, and socialise over select sounds by local DJs. Event is BYO and also sponsored by Stone & Wood - their range of IPAs, Pale Ale & and Ginger Beer will also be complimentary.
Due to the ongoing mass genocide and hardship faced by Palestine, we believe that it’s crucial we use our collective ability to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian community in whatever capacity we can. To offer support, we're organising a fundraiser raffle with all proceeds directed to The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) who provide emergency medical care, psychological and social services for Palestinians.
Fundraiser and raffle

***disclaimer***
We value good-quality clothing at the event & ask you to consider the condition of the items that are brought to the swap. They will go through a quality check at the swapping station.
I.e we aren’t looking for faulty items, holes, rags, underwear or children's wear but do welcome accessories and clean shoes in great condition. Clothing will be inspected and then items are traded for tokens and will be topped up throughout the event to ensure a fair selection.
Any leftover items will be donated to the resellers selling on the day, otherwise anything unclaimed will be donated to local charities.
