Chewin the Fat celebrates its 4th birthday on the horseshoe steps of Fairfield Park’s Yarra bend, otherwise known as ‘Fairfield Amphitheater’. We’ll be celebrating connection, contentfullness & music to soothe the soul, surrounded by blissful beauty, lushes landscapes & the cooling riff of a flowing river (aren't we lucky). We welcome you to connect with us at this place of peace and harmony.

Year in year out we’ve been supported by friends & the community we hold dearest. MVP goes out to the multitudes of artists that have helped spread the good word, whilst donating their libraries of music, artistic creations or live experiences for our pleasure.

The ‘Rural and Remote Mental Health’ program ventures into Indigenous and Torre Strait Islander communities, specifically in schools and with youth holmeslessness. Supporting in the realm of mental health education or financially upholding these regions in all pockets of country, willingly aiding in whatever way shape or form possible. We are so blessed & grateful to host this event on the land of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people. We ask you to please show respect to this beautiful landscape and the history it holds.

This is not an anti-social event, absolutely no derogatory, ill or untoward behaviour such as homophobia, sexism, racism or ableism behaviour will be overlooked and tolerated. We encourage everyone to be open-hearted, connecting with one another through the love of music. We ask you to look out for yourself and those around you at all times. Safe partying and looking after your mental health whilst knowing your limits is the end goal. If you feel unsafe, uncomfortable or unwell, please reach out to security or staff at the event who will be able to assist.
