      -models of equilibrium
      - using colorimetry to analyse equilibrium
      - back titration
      - alcohol reactions
      - calculating enthalpy
      - precipitation reactions
      - gravimetric analysis
      - modelling & understanding organic analysis

      • Assess the risk for each activity and identify the appropriate safety measures
      • Experience first-hand how to use the equipment effectively
      • Acquire appropriate and varied pedagogies for experimental Chemistry
      • Explore the use of simulations that add value to teaching and learning experiments
      • Unpack ‘Working Scientifically’ skills
      • Identify varied opportunities for ‘Depth Studies’

This workshop can contribute to 5 hours of ‘Elective PD’ addressing 2.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
