With degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Immunology from the University of Melbourne, Grace has a track record in project management, clinical validation and commercialisation within the medtech and digital health sectors. She has previously held roles in the Project Management team at CSL Group and has been involved in the creation of multiple medtech businesses in her role as Business Development Manager of Grey Innovation. Grace is a co-inventor on a now ASX listed digital health technology developed with Monash University and has been actively involved in the development of health technologies from invention, through clinical trials, to commercialisation.

Anuj Gupta,[Former]IT Director | Data, Digital & IT, APAC, Middle East, Africa, Novartis

Anuj Gupta is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years’ experience in driving transformative technology strategies and digital innovation. His career spans roles in Novartis and Sandoz, where he managed large-scale digital transformations, IT strategy, and service delivery across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. Anuj’s expertise lies in optimising IT investments, executing complex mergers and acquisitions, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives to deliver measurable outcomes.
In his recent role as IT Director at Novartis, Anuj led technology strategies impacting over 5,000 employees across 12 time zones, delivering projects with budgets up to $5 million. He has a strong background in stakeholder management, having served on regional IT boards and successfully executed initiatives that streamlined operations, enhanced data privacy compliance, and enabled digital channels to boost customer engagement.
Anuj holds degrees in Professional Accounting and Information Systems from Macquarie University, along with ITIL certification and a Company Directors Course from AICD. With a passion for innovation and a strategic mindset, Anuj continues to be a sought-after advisor for digital transformation and IT strategy.

Georgina Sharouni,Ventures Investment Manager, BUPA

Georgina is the Ventures Investment Manager at Bupa Ventures, responsible for bringing early-stage start-ups into Bupa APAC’s investment portfolio.
Before transitioning into venture investment, Georgina managed a portfolio of pilot projects aimed at improving the health and happiness of Bupa’s customers. After years of navigating the corporate landscape and testing new healthcare innovations, she knows how early stage companies can get a foot in the door of a big corporate and make the most of their pilot partnership.

Dr Dishan Herath,Acting Executive Director, Digital Innovation, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre

Dr Herath trained as a medical oncologist and nuclear medicine physician. He is currently the Acting Executive Director for Digital Innovation at Peter Mac and the medical lead for the Epic electronic medical record. His clinical area of interest is lung cancer.
In addition to his roles at Peter Mac, he is Head of Cancer Services at Western Health and Clinical Director of the Western and Central Melbourne Integrated Cancer Services (WCMICS).

Lis Boyce,Partner, Piper Alderman

An experienced corporate lawyer, Lis advises listed and private companies, multinationals, and not-for-profit organisations on their structure, governance, operations and strategy. Her clients appreciate her commitment to building long term relationships and understanding their culture and strategy so as to deliver timely, thoughtful and practical advice.
At a strategic level, Lis collaborates with boards and senior executives on significant transactions — such as capital raisings, restructuring, strategic collaborations and mergers and acquisitions (public and private). Lis’s deep experience and practical insights are particularly appreciated by growing clients who seek her guidance on how to plan and execute these important projects.
Lis also helps organisations review their governance framework so that it is “fit for purpose”, and provides emotionally intelligent advice on engaging with key stakeholders around complex member approvals, or dealing with conflicts of interest. In this, Lis brings additional perspectives as a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. For listed companies, Lis gives practical direction on meeting continuous disclosure obligations.
At an operational level, Lis guides clients in how to integrate business ethics and legal compliance into “business as usual”, training boards and managers on fulfilling their key legal obligations, such as privacy and directors’ & officers’ duties. Lis also designs contract review frameworks in line with the organisation’s risk appetite as well as drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
Lis’s strong focus on Life Sciences and Healthcare is reflected in her appointment as deputy chair of AusBiotech’s AusMedtech Advisory Group, and as a member of AusBiotech’s State Committee for NSW. Lis has also actively participated in AusBiotech industry projects including AusBiotech’s Guide for Directors of Life Sciences Companies, AusBiotech’s Guide for Investors in Life Sciences Companies and pitching workshops for Life Sciences CEOs. She enjoys being a “connector” between people in her network, to strengthen the Australian life sciences ecosystem.

Adam Jahnke,Chief Executive Officer, Umps Health

Adam became a carer after his grandpa was hospitalised following a fall at home. Frustrated by the lack of effective tech solutions available to older adults, he was driven to build his own and founded Umps Health. Today, Umps supports thousands of older adults by providing smart home technology alongside traditional care services.
Adam’s background lies at the intersection of technology and public health. One of his earliest roles was at Cochlear China, where he worked with regional governments to make cochlear implantation more accessible to remote communities. Before founding Umps, he worked at Ericsson, developing and deploying digital infrastructure to improve the livability of cities in Australia and Southeast Asia.
In addition to his role at Umps, Adam advises several startups working in aged care and disability. He holds a Master of Public Health, a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Diploma of Languages (Mandarin).
