Event description

Hello! I'm inviting you all to see a touching film with me - Chuck Chuck Baby

I am fundraising to access lifesaving treatment in Spain, for a rare condition that NZ does not treat.

Please look at tinyurl.com/Forest-Aid for more detailed information about my condition and the fundraising effort.

Thanking you for the support.
I have made tiered ticket pricing for those who don't have the means to pay the full price.

There's homemade treats to be enjoyed too

About the film:

A 2023 British musical romance film, written and directed by Janis Pugh, winning two BAFTA Cymru awards in 2024 for Best feature and Breakthrough, and Official Selection at Toronto International Film Festival.

Chuck Chuck Baby is a film of love, loss and music set amongst the falling feathers of a chicken factory.

Set in present day industrial North Wales, Helen (Louise Brealey, Sherlock) spends her nights packing chickens and her days caring for a dying mother-figure Gwen (Sorcha Cusack, Father Brown).

Helen’s world takes an unexpected turn with the return of a teenage crush, from twenty years ago.

She has inner turmoil and must find the bravery to open her heart.

Book your tickets now for this bittersweet, cathartic rush of a romantic comedy-drama.
