Welcome to a new series of classes at the Culinary Annex! Basic Batch stands for homemade recipes for people on a budget who want to expand their favorite home recipes and learn how to cook simple, yet hearty meals.
Chicken & Noodles has always been a family favorite of mine, and I want to share my knowledge of how to make this Midwest classic! We always make a big batch and eat way too much because this meal is so good!
You will learn how to make my Mom's egg noodle recipe from scratch! We will learn how to utilize a whole rotisserie chicken by making stock using the bones and using the meat for your chicken and noodles. (We won't waste any ingredients!) Also, a hearty side of mashed potatoes is a must! Comfort food to the max!
