Mandatory Child Protection training for the Child and Family sector.

Training to include the following:

  • Understanding of roles and responsibilities in the prevention of child abuse and neglect
  • Responding to indications and/or disclosures of child abuse in a culturally appropriate way
  • Current legislation
  • How to identify indicators of child abuse
  • How to respond to identified cases of abuse
  • What to do if a child discloses child abuse
  • How to support children, families, workers in a culturally informed way
