Children's Dance Classes

We have a range of dance classes coming to Malvern for toddlers and kids.

Little Dancing Feet (1-5 year olds)
- Tuesday 1 July, 11-11.30am at Glentunnel Community Centre
- Tuesday 8 July, 10.30-11am at Darfield Recreation and Community Centre
A fun, dance-style class for preschoolers using a variety of fun equipment like scarves, teddies, ribbons and more to music. Great for fundamental movement, skills and coordination.
Suitable for ages 1-5years – parents/caregivers free, $5.20 per child

Zumba® Kids (6-12 year olds)
- Tuesday 1 July, 11.45am-12.30pm at Glentunnel Community Centre
- Tuesday 8 July, 11.15am-12pm at Darfield Recreation and Community Centre
Features kid-friendly routines with added games, activities and cultural exploration elements.  A great way to incorporate fitness as a natural part of children's lives by making fitness fun. 
Suitable for ages 6-12years, $7.40 per child

Hip Hop for Beginner at Darfield Recreation and Community Centre
- Thursday 3 July: 6-8 year olds at 1-2pm, 9-12 year olds at 2.15-3.15pm
If you have a child who would love to learn basic hip hop dance skills in a fun, whānau-feel environment,then be sure to book them in to this, Learn techniques, moves and then combine this into a short routine.
Suitable for ages 6-12 years, $7.40 per child
