Children's pottery mug making SALT
Event description
This is a 1.5 hr creative, hands on workshop. This is a workshop where children can make a mug using clay. They will use handbuilding techniques to shape their mug using a warm.brown clay with a light iron speckle.  Participants will choose a glaze colour that i will then complete after its been bisque fired. Suitable for children 10yrs to 16 yrs.Â
The creation will then dry, i will fire it, glaze it, then send it for it's final firing before being ready for collection.
The amazing space at Jumpship Brewing here in Port Lincoln is the perfect venue. Please bring along a water bottle. Â
If your child is ready to take that next step in creating something using hand building this is a great introduction. Participant will receive 500 grams of clay to work your magic. Â
While I have allocated 1.5hrs for this workshop, some children will finish earlier. Please be available for collecting your child after about an hour or if I send a message through letting you know that they have finished.Â
The finished piece will be ready in 5 to 6 weeks after the workshop.
