Children's Storytime, Toy, Game and Book Swap Event

This event invites families to enjoy an entertaining Storytime session, then take part in a "preloved" toy, game and book swap with other families. After the story, children select "new" items to take home, at no cost to the environment or the family budget, while shifting our mindset away from always buying new to sharing resources. 

Note: This storytime event is aimed at children aged 2-5.

How to join the fun:

• Bring: 5 toys, games or books your child has outgrown (in good condition), plus one large item if you have it, that's 6 treasures in total.
• Clean: Wipe down your items so they're ready for a new home
• Safety: Take out batteries, and ensure no small parts are included that may present a choking risk
• Share: Bring along your treasures, ready to be swapped, with you to the event. If you have broken toys, drop them instore at BIG W's Toys For Joy collection bin.
• Local Impact : Any toys remaining after the event will be donated to a local charity.
