Childrens After School Bag Sewing Classes Term 3

The sewing club is an 8 week term of 50 minute after school workshops will focus learning how to use a sewing machine, some decorative techniques and making an item from scratch. Children will be taught to thread a sewing machine, and helped to cut and stitch their items to take home at the end of the term. These classes would suit children aged 8 - 13 years who have not sewn or have limited sewing machine experience. If you have attended a school holiday session with me these will be run in a similar way to those classes. All sessions are limited to 8 children per age group. Please ensure that you book you child into the age appropriate session or message me with any questions you have.

• All classes will be held at the Melville Guides Hall on the corner of Stock and Kitchener Roads in Melville.

• Attendees will use Handmade for Me sewing machines.

Please advise of learning prefernces, allergies, intolerances, medical or other conditions which our team may need to know about to support you and your child during this session. A parent or carer is not required to remain on site but may be invited to remain.

Terms & Conditions

Attendees must be in the age group specified for the session.

Refunds can only be given before the date of the specified course.

Full refunds will not be given if cancellation is requested less than 7 days before the course starts.

A 50% refund will be given for cancellations requested up to 8 days before the term starts.

A 100% refund will be given if Handmade for Me cancels the course.

Refunds will not be given for non attendance.

There are no make up classes.

No food or drink containing nuts is permitted in the Guides Hall or the fenced area outside of the Hall.

A minimum of 3 attendees is required to run any of the classes. Handmade for Me reserves the right to cancel the course if there are not 3 attendees.

One ticket per person only.

If attendees under the age of 18 carry personal medical equipment such as an EpiPen or inhaler Handmade for Me staff must be made aware before every session.

Sewing machines and irons can only be used under supervision

Handmade for Me reserves the right to refuse access to the sewing machines and irons if attendee behaviour is deemed inappropriate around machinery

Early bird discounts apply for a specific period only; are not transferable and apply to one transaction only.

The Early Bird Discount, the newsletter subscriber discount and the previous attendee discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or each other.

Upcycled fabrics must be clean and suitable for use

Handmade for Me reserves the right to refuse to use an attendees upcycled fabric for the nominated bag or purse
