Event description

Experience an evening in the old Beenleigh Station now converted to a restaurant by chef, Chris Brown, formerly of Serrano's Mexican Restaurant in Beenleigh.

This event is a pre-festival occasion hosted jointly by Chillogan Chilli & Rum Festival and Station 4207.

Your partner doesn't eat chilli?   NO problem!  Chef has offered a Non-Chilli Option for each course! 

The station platform will be transformed to a warm, chilli-themed space.

We are all about supporting locals and know that Logan residents will be champing at the bit to experience some chili and rum goodness.

You'll also enjoy live music by Body and Soul Duo, Queensland's premier duo, who you may have seen performing at Diggers Services Club in Logan, and across the State in quality venues.  So bring your dancing shoes and make date night super fun! 

You'll enjoy some Rum tastings from our Island Coast Spirits, and check out the latest hot stuff from Flaming Koala hot Sauce. 

THE MENU! 

ENTREE:

A chilli ratatouille 

Layers of eggplant, squash, tomato and zucchini on a bed of fiery chilli, tomato sugo. finished with a fresh zesty pesto. 

or 

Sweet chilli glazed pork belly bites with an apple cream. 

MAIN COURSE:

Chilli oil infused sous vide 200g eye fillet, served on a creamy mash, sautéed seasonal greens and baby carrots. Hot sauces and a chilli jus will be on the table for people to add and build on.  

OR

Chilli chicken lasagna on a bed of Parmesan crusted carrots.   Layers of succulent and fiery shredded chicken, Creamy béchamel sauce, chilli & tomato sugo, all between home made pasta sheets and topped with a layer of crispy jalapeno cheese. Served with a stack of Parmesan crumbed carrot chips 

or Vegetarian/Gluten-Free:   

Serranos bean enchilada grande 

2 corn tortillas rolled around our very own bean blend with cheese and spinach. Oven baked with a fiery tomato sugo. Served on a bed of Mexican rice topped with a corn salsa. 

DESSERT: 

Chilli chocolate brownie, served with a scoop of white chocolate ice cream and a butterscotch rum sauce. 

OR

station made profiteroles stuffed with a chilli rum crème patissiere, smothered in a decadent caramel ganache. Sat on a bed of chilli white chocolate mousse. 

Our sponsor, Island Coast Spirits will be collaborating on some great Rum Cocktails on the night, and of course there will be Chilli Cocktails on hand to complete the picture.
