Recorded and mixed by Jonathan Boulet (Party Dozen, Body Type, Loose Fit) Through Today is a significant leap forward from Chimers' self-released and self-titled 2021 debut. Traces of late-eighties post-hardcore and alterna-sounds (Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Hüsker Dü) seep in and out of the album, but with Chimers' direct and no-unnecessary-fills approach, the sound is always uniquely theirs.
