Morning Garden tour at the Chimneys
Event description
Join an exclusive tour of the Chimneys gardens followed by lunch. In 1902, Olmsted Brothers were commissioned by Boston financier Gardiner Martin Lane to site a seven-chimney Georgian Revival summer home located on their 28-acres of land on Dana Beach, located in Manchester-By-the-Sea, Massachusetts. Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. would take a leadership role in this design, working on the gardens for twelve years. This event is presented as a part of the Bunny Mellon Curricula at the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. The ICAA is very grateful to the Gerard B. Lambert Foundation for its generous support of this program, along with the Bunny Mellon Curricula Sponsors: Lead Sponsor: Hollander Design Landscape Architects |
