    Event description

Come and join us in celebration of our Chin Culture in Perth, Western Australia. A jubilant gathering for families with a feast of Chin culinary delights, traditional cultural dances and performances of tales woven with artistry. Bring your family and explore immersive cultural experiences and enchanting adventures. We will be showcasing our local businesses and social enterprises. Please join us for a truely immersive community gathering for an important collective mission.

All proceeds from this event goes towards an important humanitarian project, the HEAL Chinland Project. HEAL stands for Health, Education, Advocacy and Leadership. This project is led by inspiring young Chin leaders in Australia working to support the Chin community in Chinland, Myanmar. The Chin people who are indigenous to western Myanmar, are facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis following the military coup on February 1, 2021. Continuous military strikes and arson attacks have displaced millions, turning our once peaceful homes into a war zone. Our mission through the HEAL Chinland Project is to heal and restore some of the fundamental human rights that have been stripped from our people. We believe in the collective power of solidarity from our community. You can support us by joining us in our Chin Cultural Festival or making a tax-deductible donation to support our efforts via this link - https://mettamorphosis.org.au/
