Chinese New Year - Dragon Mask Making for Children

Celebrate Chinese New Year, and the Year of the Dragon, at Ballantynes. Join us at this fun hands on workshop decorating your own dragon mask.

For this event, Ballantynes has proudly partnered with the local experts in Children’s fun Crowntastic www.crowntastic.co.nz, specialising in "Bringing life to little human's dreams."

Ticket price is $23 per child and includes:- Making your very own dragon mask and finishing the workshop to see the Qiao Yi Lion Dance Team in action.

This event will appeal to ages 5-10. Caregivers are asked to remain in Kin Winebar during the class.

Children attending this workshop will be invited to wear their masks and follow the Lion Dance Team as they make their way around the ground floor. For those wishing to join this walk, please add an extra 20-30 minutes to your visit.

As this is a hands on class and could get messy, we recommend bringing an apron.
