Description:

Learn to make traditional Chinese dumplings with guest chef Catherine Mao of Mahjong Dumplings!* Catherine grew up making Chinese dumplings alongside the women in her family, and in 2025 she launched Mahjong Dumplings to share her culture, traditions, and family recipes throughout the greater Ventura and Santa Barbara area. She'll guide us through every step of the dumpling-making process, from preparing dough from scratch and mixing flavorful fillings to folding, shaping, and cooking. And, as always, we'll sit down to enjoy a delicious feast together!

Registration closes two days before class begins, as our chefs need time to shop and prep. We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies whenever possible. If a request cannot be accommodated for a particular class, we’ll contact you directly. For guests 21 and over, complimentary wine will be served during the seated dinner portion of class. Please do not bring outside alcohol; we ask that all guests consume responsibly.
