Event description

Please note that this is a long-term campaign. If registering, please plan to attend every other week on Wednesday nights. If you are not able to commit to this time slot consistently, please allow someone who can commit to the slot to take this seat instead. ChiRPG hosts plenty of one-shots and campaigns; there is likely an alternate event that will suit your schedule! This allows us to engage in collaborative storytelling at the table with a consistent cast of characters. Thank you!

On the continent of Altris, dragons have ruled the land for as long as anyone can remember. The world was dominated by conflict between dragons over territory, treasure, or resources. Non-dragon folks lived in small, isolated communities while they tried to scrape together a living amidst the chaos.

Now, things are much different. The benevolent blue dragon queen made peace between dragons factions and installed herself as the Empress over all dragon kind. She ceded a portion of her own territory to form the country of Helian. Helian is the first territory run by non-dragon folks and became a safe haven where non-dragon folks could come together and govern themselves for the first time in recorded history. In this golden age of prosperity, flourishing of the arts and cultures, and new scientific or arcane discoveries is where we will find ourselves in this campaign.

From GM Jas: This is a beginner-friendly campaign. Players brand new to DND or TTRPGS are welcome. Ages 18 and up. LGBTQIA+ and 'neurospicy' friendly game. We will establish ground rules, safety mechanics, and lines/veils at session 0. GM Jas' number 1 priority in running games is players’ comfort and enjoyment. He's a 'yes and/no but' GM; meaning they try to keep things fair and play by the written rules, but it’s more important to him that people have fun, and that the table tells a cool story together. If the written rules aren’t working for everyone, those rules can always be reworked. Jas enjoy a lot of roleplay in their games, with combat interspersed throughout.
