Event description

Chisholm St is a live performance space on Wadawurrung country, Ballarat. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and recognise that their sovereignty was never ceded.

Hosted by Bronwyn Blaiklock, Chisholm St is an intimate foray into fascinating corners of classical music. Launched in March 2021, this diverse series of concerts by regional musicians and spoken word performers gives you a rare glimpse into creative music-making, up close and personal.

Chisholm St: February

We are thrilled to present the Inscape Piano Trio, live for one performance only on Friday 24th February at 6.00 pm. The program will feature new music by composer and pianist Rick Chew, with international concert violinist Dunja Lavrova and acclaimed cellist, Lachlan Dent. Rick’s music is lyrical and dramatic; contemporary classical music that draws inspiration from the wellspring of traditional song from the British Isles, from poetry, painting, and the fierce beauty of the natural world.
