We’ll mend pottery with gold as a symbol of resilience and renewal, while enjoying a delicious Tupelo-honey-inspired lunch made in house at Fairhope Chocolate Bakery.

Note: This workshop is an adaptation of Kintsugi—we’ll use gold leaf sheets, and mica powder with a modern adhesive rather than traditional lacquer.

Your cherished pieces can be celebrated - but for your first experience, we recommend bringing a piece that’s not of deep sentimental value. If you don’t have one to bring, ceramic pieces will be available for a small fee.

Like any technique, Kintsugi takes practice, and this first attempt is all about learning the process.

We recommend bringing a small-to-medium ceramic piece (not porcelain) to work with — it’s the easiest and most rewarding to repair.
