CHOIR4ADAY Singing Workshop

Choir4aDay is a unique event where people come together in a beautiful space for one day only to form a choir!

Choir4ADay welcomes people of all singing abilities, making it accessible and non-judgemental. It provides an opportunity for creativity, from simple warm ups to harmonising and arranging. Learning and performing the songs allows participants to experience a sense of accomplishment. 

Choir4ADay combines music, community, self-expression and the joy of creating something from nothing together, even if it’s just for a day!

It’s a simple concept, that is all about community participation through singing.

Led by experienced choir director and songwriter, Janet Swain, the day will begin with a bunch of breathing and vocal exercises, leading to some musical warm ups and activities.

The Choir will be accompanied by guitar or piano, and people are encouraged to bring instruments if they want to play as well as sing.
