Chooks in the City

Chooks don't just live on Farms. If your property is big enough to give them a house at least 9m away from any human dwelling, you can have chooks in the City of Joondalup.

You might like to have fresh eggs, and feathery pest eradication officers working in your garden.

Chooks have needs. Like us they need food, water, fresh air, water, and shelter. 

If you are wondering about having chooks at your place, come to DEG's "Chooks in the City" workshop. You need to know a few things before you get a chook. Or just come because you'd like to talk to a chook or see them working in the garden. Kath will present the information, and her chooks will be at the garden 9-11am on 11th Feb 2023.
