The moment you search online for ‘how to build a website’, you’ll be hit with a flood of ads from website building platforms, all promising to have the answer. But with so much noise, how do you figure out which one is the right fit for you and your business?

In this workshop, you’ll cut through the noise and learn exactly what to look for when choosing a website platform. Whether you’re building it yourself or hiring a professional, you’ll walk away with the knowledge to make an informed decision, saving you time, money and frustration.

This workshop will cover:

  • Website security and SSL

  • E-commerce and payment options

  • Bandwidth and site speed

  • Hosting and pricing considerations

  • The importance of ease in updating the website yourself

  • SEO Capabilities

This topic covers:
  • Gain confidence in choosing the right website platform.

  • Identify the key features to look at when choosing a platform.

  • Learn to distinguish the difference between marketing hype and genuine product features.

  • Understand the main platform options and how AI can help or hinder your decision making process.

This session is for small business owners wanting help to choose a website platform to build their website.  

The facilitator of this topic, Business One Stop Shop (BOSS), is dedicated to helping small business owners thrive through expert advice, hands-on workshops and building a community of like-minded people.

Bookings are limited to two tickets each, however you can make more than one booking. If you are booking for more than one person, please provide each person's email address so they receive our emails with important links and downloads.

If you cannot attend, please cancel so your place can be made available to another business owner. You can cancel your booking from the update order button on your order confirmation email. Cancellations and refunds for paid workshops can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop starts.
