Choral Day 2026
Description


This year, the Australian Society for Music Education WA (ASME WA) are working with the Australian National Choral Association (ANCA - WA) to present professional learning sessions with the amazing Mark Puddy. Mark is a well-known composer, who has composed commissioned works for many organisations around Australia, including our very own WA Government School Massed Choir Festival, and the Australian Girls Choir.
Outline of events
Both professional learning sessions are to be held at John XXIII College in Mount Claremont.
Sessions are as follows:
Friday, 30th October from 3:30pm till 5:30pm. Mark will work with the John XXII Year 7 and 8 Choir group on warm-ups and a piece the students have started learning. We are then offering a Q&A Sundowner with drinks and nibbles.
Saturday, 31st October from 9am till 3pm. At this full day professional learning event, Mark will share a range of interactive sessions, including warm ups, conducting instruction and repertoire ideas.
You can select the Friday session, Saturday PL or both activities at a discounted rate.
