The Rotorua District Choir presents 2 performances of Choral Jukebox!
At our Christmas concert last year, we gave our audiences the opportunity to pick our repertoire for this concert. Members of the choir or the public could sponsor a song for a small fee. The choir have been studiously preparing these choices to present in what will be an eclectic mix of choral repertoire from Mendelssohn to The Eagles with a whole bunch of other songs in between. There will be songs from musicals, pop ballads from the 80s, ragtime fun and even a little bit of Enya. The concert will also feature compositions from 2 different Waikato/Bay of Plenty based composers who’ve graciously allowed our choir the use of their music.
Performances will take place at St John’s Church at 3pm on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September 2024.
