Christchurch Envirokids x Climate Liberation Aotearoa

Join us for a bold, creative session where tamariki step into the world of collective action! Discover how people power works — through costumes, chalk, puppets and a whole lot of noise.

What: Team up with Christchurch Envirokids and Climate Liberation Aotearoa to find out what collective action looks like in practice — and take part in a real one.

Discover: Learn who CLA are and what drives their kaupapa, why banks and climate are connected, and how peaceful protest actually works — including the roles that keep everyone safe.

Create: Get hands-on with chalk art, giant carnival puppets, costumes, banners and chants. Confident ākonga can even record a short piece to camera about what we're doing and why.

Date: Sunday 25th October

Time: Two sessions available (each approx. 45 minutes, with a 15-minute break between)

Location: Meet outside the ANZ building. Look for the Envirokids flag.

This will be a completely legal event with safe protesting action and a range of options for all to take part.
