Christchurch Envirokids x School Strike 4 Climate

Join us for a colourful, sign-making session where kids become young climate activists! Discover the power of protest and creativity through hands-on painting and learning.

What: Team up with Christchurch Envirokids and SS4C Ōtautahi to explore climate activism and create eye-catching signs and a banner for future strikes!

Discover: Learn about the School Strike 4 Climate movement and kaupapa, what protest means, and how to make an effective, powerful sign.

Create: Get hands-on with red, yellow, blue, white, and black acrylic paint, designing your own cardboard sign or contributing to a shared 4m banner — perfect for budding activists and creative minds.

Date: 18 October
Time: Two sessions available (each approx. 45 minutes, with a 15-minute break between)
Location: The Kiosk, Botanic Gardens
