Join us for a fun, hands-on session with the South Island Wildlife Hospital and discover what it really means to be a kaitiaki for our cheeky mountain parrot, the Kea!
What: Team up with Christchurch Envirokids and the South Island Wildlife Hospital to uncover the challenges Kea face in the wild — and the incredible work SIWH is doing to protect them.
Discover: Meet Aotearoa's one-of-a-kind alpine parrot and find out what's putting this cheeky, clever bird at risk.
Create: Get stuck into hands-on activities — think photos, songs, and even a puppet show!
Date: 8th November
Time: Two sessions available (approx. 45 mins each, with a 15-min break between)
Location: The Kiosk, Botanic Gardens
