Christian Meditation Day Retreat
Event description
Come and join participants in the World Community for Christian Meditation for a retreat day exploring the topic of spiritual blindness. Cathie will introduce us to the theme “I can see clearly now” using story, music and personal sharing. There will be times for personal reflection and discussion with other participants. During the day there will be opportunities to meditate together, eat together and laugh together. Meditation experience is not necessary and all are welcome!
Cathie is a Uniting Church minister and spiritual director. She is currently completing her PhD exploring how contemporary women on the edge of the church respond to the lives and writings of the beguine mystics from the 13th century. She is passionate about companioning people on their spiritual journey and celebrating each individual’s uniqueness and creativity.
Morning tea and lunch is included.
