Your Christmas plans just got a little more magical.
Gather your favourite people and experience Christmas at Gracegate! Our annual Christmas celebration returns with Once Upon a Winter’s Night, a production full of festive wonder, with two shows at 4pm and 7pm.
Make an occasion of it with delicious food available to purchase, a mobile barnyard, festive fun, and our Christmas photo walk-through, featuring different scenes for snapping memories with your family and friends. Bring your Christmas spirit and have your camera ready!
This Christmas, you can be part of changing someone's story. Every dollar from ticket sales will go directly towards our Breathe programme, helping people overcome life's challenges, rediscover hope and take courageous steps towards a brighter future. Your ticket could help make someone's fresh start possible.
Christmas is even better when it’s shared. Invite a friend, bring a neighbour, gather the family—there’s room for someone new in your Christmas traditions.

- When and where is the event?
Join us at Gracegate on Saturday 12 December, at 42 Parkway Drive, Sunnynook, Auckland for Once Upon a Winters Night.
Choose from two showtimes: 4pm or 7pm.
- Is the event suitable for children?
Absolutely. The whole event is family friendly. We’d love for you to bring the family! The show is suitable for all ages. Children aged 12 and under will still need to have a FREE ticket booked for them.
- Are both shows the same?
Yes! Both shows are the same, so choose the time that works best for you.
- How long are the shows?
The show runs for approximately 1 hour. In between the two shows you can enjoy the food, mobile barnyard, festive fun and Christmas photo walk-through!
- What time should we arrive?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your show. Doors open 15 minutes before the show starts, and you can enjoy the food, activities and photo walk-through between 5-7pm.
- How much are tickets, and what’s included?
Tickets are $10 per person, with children 12 years old and under free.
Your ticket includes entrance to your chosen show time and Christmas photo walk-through.
Food is available to purchase separately.
Mobile barnyard is free to enjoy.
- What does my ticket fee support?
Your Christmas outing helps make a difference! Your ticket fee goes towards supporting Gracegate’s Breathe programme. Thank you for helping us continue this work in our community.
- Do I need to print my show ticket?
Feel free to show us your ticket on your phone, or bring a printed ticket, or provide your booking name when you arrive. Our welcome team will help you check in.
- What is Gracegate’s Breathe programme?
Breathe supports people transitioning from addiction into recovery, helping them rebuild their lives with encouragement, mentoring and practical life skills. It’s about supporting people towards a future with meaning, purpose and hope.

- Do I need to attend Gracegate to come?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a familiar face or stepping through our doors for the first time, we’d love to celebrate Christmas with you. Bring a friend, neighbour or the whole family!
- What is the Christmas photo walk-through?
Step into a little Christmas magic! Our photo walk-through features different festive scenes where you can take your own photos with family and friends. Bring your phone or camera and capture a few Christmas memories. Your entry to the walk-through is included in your show ticket fee.
- Is parking available?
Unfortunately, there will not be parking available onsite, as our car park will be used for the event. Parking on the roadside is available on Parkway Drive, Ramp Road and surrounding roads. You also have the option for public transport as Gracegate is conveniently located approx 450m (6 minute walk) from the Constellation Bus Station.
- Is the venue accessible?
Our venue has an accessible entrance, accessible seating and an accessible toilet.
