The humble Elderflower and it's dark purple berries have been used for centuries as drinks, food and herbal medicines.

Today we celebrate this wonderful plant by eating, drinking, cooking and generally enjoying it in a multitude of delicious forms.

What can you expect?

Begin the afternoon with an elderflower mocktail. What a lovely way to celebrate Christmas early.

Learn about the ways to grow this delectable plant and the cautions behind both growing and using it.

Create three elderflower and elderberry delights to take home including Elderberry Jam; Elderberry Cordial and Elderflower champagne. These match the season so well with depth of flavour, colour and festive bubbles.

You'll also taste the joys of other elderflower recipes that I make often when they are in season at the Elderflower focussed afternoon tea from fine bone china cups and teapots.
