The Basics:

Join me for a two hour festive flavoured Christmas Mini Weaving Workshop here in Perth.

Have fun as you create a set of 4 super cute Mini Hand Woven Christmas Tree Decorations (or maybe 6 if you are fast).

In this two hour mini hand woven decorations workshop in Perth, you will have fun as you discover how to create a set of beautiful tiny weavings to adorn any part of your Christmas decor - from hanging them on your own tree or table arrangement, to gifting them as the perfect ‘handmade’ present for your loved ones.

Be guided by your experienced weaving instructor to choose your Christmas colour palette and simple designs; then use a couple of basic weaving stitches to make your tiny weavings.

Once the full set is off the wooden hand loom you will have the chance to embellish them with stars, beads, glittery things (or leave them simple if you are already happy with them).

You may need nimble fingers if you choose super small additions, but I will always be there to help you.

If you're new to weaving, don’t worry as you will be guided step-by-step and supported throughout the workshop, ensuring that you feel confident and inspired to explore this ancient art form. 

By the end of the workshop, you will have your own set of 4 mini hand woven decorations to spice up your Christmas.

This is an Adult class. Teenagers are welcome, but must be over 13 to attend and must attend with a paying adult.

Attendees will get:

• The use of a wooden hand loom and your weaving tools.
• Your choice of Christmas coloured yarns to choose from.
• Stars, beads, glittery items and any other festive embellishments I have collected.
• Tea/coffee and mince pies.
• Oh and of course your super patient and experienced teacher.

What to bring:

There is nothing specific you need to bring, just yourself (and maybe a friend). You are welcome to bring any Christmas themed trinkets to sew onto your mini weavings.

Knowledge/skills:

This weaving class is for total beginners, so you don’t need any experience. It could be useful if you’ve threaded a sewing needle before, but no stress as I’ll be there to help you.
