Christmas Lino Cut Workshop
Event description
Come craft your own greeting cards & prints as you learn the traditional artform of linoprinting!
At this workshop you will learn the basics of linoprinting, create a design, hand-carve it, and print it, all in one session.
All materials are included for each participant to make up to 8 A6 cards with space to write inside.
Zero experience or materials required! Whether you have used this technique before or you are a complete beginner, everyone is welcome to join and learn.
This workshop will be facilitated by Omar a Glasgow-based Canarian illustrator, printmaker, and workshop facilitator. His practice is multidisciplinary, combining analog and digital media, and his work explores themes of community, identity, and people's connection with nature.
