Description

Proudly Brought to you by Auckland Council Waste Solutions!

Get creative and make your own one-of-a-kind kauri platter from reclaimed native timber. Shape, sand and wood burn your own design, then finish it so it’s food safe and ready to use or gift.

It also makes a beautiful handmade Christmas present for someone special!

We’ll cover tool safety before using the jigsaw, drill, sander and soldering iron. Beginner friendly and perfect for anyone who loves sustainable, functional art.

Adults only. Please wear covered shoes and fitted clothing, and dress for the weather.

We provide:

  • Safety briefing

  • Step-by-step tool guidance

  • Tips for building your skills

  • Personal support where needed

When: Tuesday 1st Dec 10am - 1pm

Where: The ReCreators Green Space, 135 Chamberlain Rd, Massey, Auckland 0614, New Zealand

The ReCreators are on a mission to show the world how to reduce and reuse our natural resources. It’s easy, fun, creative, and sustainable. Join us on our journey.
