YOUR CHANCE TO HEAR MEDAL WINNING, WORLD CLASS ACAPELLA SINGING!
Welcome to Harmony Waitaha's (formerly the Plainsmen's) annual Christmas Concert in the beautiful Christchurch Transitional Cathedral.
The first half of the concert is a celebration of our passion for group singing and features choruses and quartets from out Chapter as well as guest choirs and musicians.
Quantum Acoustics, our Youth Choir, won four silver medals at the recent Pan Pac (NZ, Australia, USA and Hawaii) championship. This is a remarkable achievement as they were only formed 2 years ago!
The Plainsmen – our long established male choir- won a NZ Gold Medal for the first time in 24 years.
Promenade our wonderful male youth quartet placed 6th in the world in the International Next Generation contest!
All will feature in the concert.
The second half of the concert will be more “Christmas Focused” and feature massed choirs performing songs of the Festive Season.
