Welcome to the Christmas Wine Fair 2025! Join us in celebrating 21 years of Cellar Door Wines in St Albans at the Verulam Golf Club.
Join us for our fantastic festive Wine Fair being held in the heart of our home city, St Albans. We will be showcasing a selection of our favourite wines made by world class winemakers and producers from every continent from our specially curated range. You can taste every style from warming reds, Port and Sherry to orange wines, crisp whites and sparkling. It's the perfect opportunity to discover new favourites and stock up for the holiday season. Don't miss out on this special event!
Your £35 ticket includes sampling of over 60 wines plus a selection of cheese and cured meats catered by the golf club.

The aim of the event is to help you put together your festive cases of beverages and gifts with the help and advice of our expert team of wine professionals and start to get into the Christmas mood!
What you can expect:
This is a walk about wine tasting held in the Verulam Golf Club in St Albans, just off the London Road. Please note that there is no seating available. On arrival you will be checked in and given a Riedel Glass, an order booklet and a pen. The wine samples will be poured and explained to you by our wine experts at their tables.
Getting to the venue:
For obvious reasons we recommend that you use public transport or taxis to get to and from the venue. St Albans city train station is a ten minute walk from the venue. If you live in St Albans, please walk to and from the venue! We recommend that you make an afternoon/ evening of it and book a table at one of the many fabulous, local restaurant in St Albans. Do get in touch with us for recommendations.
