Event description

Come see one of Australia's top world-funk fusion bands as they tour their debut album 'Ajar'. One night only, Wednesday 3 April @ Church St Hotel.

Chutney is a hot and spicy mix of ingredients, bound by the warm, sugary embrace of klezmer - the folk music of Jewish Eastern Europe. A Chutney show will traverse folk, funk, reggae, disco, Latin, jazz, swing and pop, and will take you on a tour through Russia, Romania, Israel, Egypt, Brazil and the USA.

From funked up takes on traditional dance tunes to Dixieland jazz, from Cirque du Soleil to Mozart, from Star Wars to dub - there's something for everyone!

Here's a little taste:

About Chutney:

Chutney has played extensively in Sydney, including at the Sydney Opera House, Foundry 616 and multiple sold-out shows at Camelot Lounge.
