CIPS NSW Branch Dinner at the Apprentice – Halloween Theme
Event description
The CIPS NSW Branch Committee invites you to join them and special guests from Humanitix and TAFE NSW at our annual dinner at The Apprentice Restaurant, Ultimo TAFE Campus, Sydney.
The event will have a Halloween theme and costumes are encouraged! There will be prizes for best male and best female costumes.
On offer is a three-course meal created and served in a silver service environment by TAFE NSW apprentice chefs and hospitality trainees.

Topic: A View from the Top – How the C-Suite Sees the Procurement Function
Dan Bowes is currently the Chief Shared Services Officer for TAFE NSW, with the following business functions in his portfolio: Procurement, Finance, Property/Infrastructure, Governance, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
Dan was an Executive Director and Strategy and Business Development Manager at Revenue NSW for four years, and prior to that, held a number of senior management roles in the banking sector. Can is a highly accomplished retail-banking and business improvement executive with extensive strategy and execution experience in a number of markets across the world. He combines large scale people leadership skills with expert operational excellence and analytical background. He has delivered a number of profound step-changes both in high-level strategic roles and through business unit leadership.
He is also a firm believer in the power of authentic leadership and leading teams by making deep connections between customer value and business outcomes.
