Circle of Security
Event description
Circle of Security is a program for parents who want to better understand and respond to both their own, and their child’s behavior, reactions, and needs. Increasing understanding of your child can contribute to their development in many ways including self-esteem, confidence in their relationships with others, and interdependence.
In this program, you’ll learn how to: • Understand your child’s emotional needs • Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions • Support the development of your child’s self esteem • Become more familiar with the patterns and importance of security • Connect with other parents and professionals in a nonjudgmental, low-pressure space The program is an 8-week group designed
Join us on the following Wednesdays at Ode’imin (603 St. Mary’s Road) from 1:30pm till 3:30pm: • OCTOBER 1 2025 • OCTOBER 8 2025 • OCTOBER 15 2025 • OCTOBER 22 2025 • OCTOBER 29 2025 • NOVEMBER 5 2025 • NOVEMBER 12 2025 • NOVEMBER 19 2025 • A healthy snack and bus tokens will be available. There is free parking in the front lot at Ode’imin. Childminding available. Registration (for the group of 8 sessions) is required.
