Event description
Circle of Security is a program for parents who want to better understand and respond to both their own, and their child's behavior, reactions, and needs. Increasing understanding of your child can contribute to their development in many ways including self-esteem, confidence in their relationships with others, and interdependence.
In this program, you’ll learn how to:
- Understand your child’s emotional needs
- Support your child’s ability to manage emotions
- Support the development of your child's self esteem
- Become more familiar with the patterns and importance of security
- Connect with other parents and professionals in a non-judgmental, low-pressure space
The program is an 8-week group designed for parents of children of all ages. First-time parents and partners welcome. A certificate may be provided, depending on attendance.
Join us on the following Wednesdays, at Ode'imin (603 St. Mary's Road), from 1:30pm till 3:30pm:

- April 9/25
- April 16/25
- April 23/25
- April 30/25
- May 7/25
- May 14/25
- May 21/25
Registration (for the group of 8 sessions) is required.
- Childcare will be available for children (ages 1-11)
- A healthy snack and bus tokens will also be available
- There is free parking in the front lot at Ode'imin (603 St. Mary's Road)
