Are you a mum of a neurodiverse/ spirited child? It can be really tough, especially if you have little or no support. No one really understands how it is unless they've been there. The tantrums, the defiance, the rudeness, the yelling, the swearing, the destruction of things.... it goes on! I get it!

Most people think our kids are just 'naughty' or attention seeking or just plain disrespectful, but it's not actually the case. These kids have lagging skills as written about in "The Explosive Child" by Ross Greene Ph.D, meaning their brains are wired differently to neurotypical kids. This is why what might work for other kids just doesn't work for ours. As I am learning more and more about my own son, its obvious that our kids have so many unmet needs because of the way they are wired. They need a lot more understanding and compassion, than we or the schools probably give them. And even then, they can STILL be extremely challenging!

We are only human right?!

This is why, more than ever, us mum's need a support network. We need to know that we're not alone and that there are others who TOTALLY get us. We need to feel safe to express ourselves, where we won't be judged. (But to be honest, it's usually US judging ourselves!) And we need to learn how to regularly carve out time for US, so we can regulate our nervous system and be a better parent.

This is why we've decided to hold regular Circles, each fortnight, for like-minded mum's. Where we connect, be seen, heard and validated and learn from each other, new ways of being.

I'm super excited to be teaming up with Leashia Arrowsmith, Trauma-informed Motherhood Coach & Emotional Wellness Expert, Hatha Yoga & Meditation Teacher.

Leashia is passionate about helping women who feel overwhelmed by the unseen mental and emotional load of motherhood - regulate their nervous systems and heal from the inside out - so that they can feel LESS triggered, MORE energised and DEEPLY connected to their loved ones.

Join us in Circle every fortnight, online where we share about mum life and how we handle the pressures of parenting a spirited child. This will be fully interactive and there will be no replays as we want to keep the container a safe place to express.

Every other Sunday, starting 4th Dec

10 - 11am
