    Event description

Presented by Canberra by Bike and Pedal Power ACT. We encourage you to buy Pedal Power membership and insurance (starts at $12/month), or please sign our waiver on the day.

This tour requires a minimum four guests to proceed. We'll refund your ticket if the tour is cancelled.

How well do you know Canberra's National Triangle? Did you know it was part of Marion Mahony Griffin and Walter Burley Griffins' plans for Canberra as part of the 1911 international design competition?

But why a triangle? And what will the Ngurra precinct be?

Find out from our guest speakers on this new tour that explains the stories behind many national collecting and cultural institutions, and other important buildings and structures along the route.

We'll start outside the Australian Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies on the Acton peninsular, and make our way along the north side of the central basin, before finishing with a loop around Australia's Parliament House.

This tour covers buildings including: the AITSIS, National Museum, Carillon, National Gallery, High Court, Aboriginal Tent Embassy, Treasury, and the National Archives. Learn about gardens, sculptures, and more.

The full route and stops are available here.

Bring: Sunglasses, a bike lock, sunscreen.
