Circle the Sun is an electrifying fusion of genres, occupying a space where rock meets funk and reggae, while adding a modern, alternative twist. Based in Melbourne, Australia and born from the collective passion and musical prowess of a group that thrives on innovation, Circle the Sun boasts an eclectic lineup. Roscoe Tsalacopoulos brings soaring, energetic guitar riffs while Tim Del Vecchio weaves a complex vocal tapestry. The band’s rhythmic foundations are expertly set by drummer Cameron Thornton’s unorthodox yet danceable beats, as well as bassist Wei-Shen Tan, who lays down complex and groovy melodic lines.

Drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum of musical legends — From the groovy tunes of Jamiroquai to the rock anthems of Led Zeppelin, the funky edge of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, to the soulful melodies of Stevie Wonder—Circle the Sun crafts an auditory experience that breaks free from conventional labels. Their music is a vibrant celebration of creativity, showcasing the band's seamless ability to blend diverse musical elements into a captivating whole.

As Circle the Sun continues to wow audiences with their electrifying live performances, they are also preparing for their next creative phase. While their debut EP is available now, the band will once again hit the studio, with plans to release newly crafted tunes that promise to broaden their sonic horizons even further. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of styles, The Moops craft a sound that is melodic, dynamic, and infused with elements of rock, country, and groove-driven rhythms. Hailing from Melbourne, they have been creating original music for over a decade, bringing a fresh edge to a classic sound. Their music is defined by the interplay between Rob and Tim’s fluid guitar lines, rich vocal harmonies, Ron’s tight, driving bass grooves, and Levi’s rock-solid drumming—fuelling a rhythm section that is unmistakably their own. 

CHICAGO DIME

Chicago Dime's love for the blues runs deep, their name taken from a Buddy Guy lyric: “‘I went to Chicago lookin’ for a dime and found a quarter.”

The band blends the raw energy of Chicago blues with the soulful depth of Texas blues, bringing a modern twist to classic blues and drawing inspiration from legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Buddy Guy. Their sound is a fusion of gritty guitar riffs, deep grooves, and powerful vocals. With a mission to keep the blues alive, Chicago Dime delivers a mix of original songs and covers that resonate with both traditional blues fans and contemporary audiences.
