Circles for Sensitive Teens
Event description
What: You are invited to a local gathering of like-minded people to openly express your ideas and feelings in a safe space where you are respected and deeply listened to. No homework, no expectations, no control, no talking AT you. As Dr Seuss says "no one is youer than you," so you can show all of your colours.
Why: Sensitive people are highly gifted and have a very strong purpose. You are the change-makers of our era. To support you on your path, you need an outlet for your creativity, ideas, thoughts and frustrations and we need to hear them. I'm listening.
Why Now: If you are sensitive you probably don't know how gifted you are so self-doubt, nervousness, fear, and depression can set in. It's time for you to understand the true nature of your sensitive gifts and begin to embrace what you stand for and who you really are - you are a changemaker.
How: We sit, barefooted if you wish, in a circle and take turns sharing, listening, laughing and connecting. We may do some art, play some fun games and tell our stories, if we feel like it. There is no requirement for you to say or do anything. You can listen.
Who: People from all genders have sensitive gifts. Men no longer need to hide their sensitivity and women no longer have to apologise for it. Toxic masculinity and repressed femininity are making our society sick. You can break this pattern by simply embracing who you are and speaking your truth.
Who am I: I'm Kristyn, better known as 'The Giftspotter'. Google me to learn of my many accomplishments but nothing is more important than this. I am at your service. It's my purpose to empower you to share your ideas with the world. You help me fulfil my purpose and I help you fulfil yours.
What to Bring: Bring a water bottle and a simple offering of food (nuts, apples, chips etc)
