SYDNEY LOCALS CAN BOOK A SPOT TO SOURCE SOME DENIM FROM GENERAL PANTS 2019 DENIM AMNESTY.

This event is for designers & fashion students who have entered the Circular Denim + General Pants Denim Redesign Project + Competition.

As the Circular Centre is based in Petersham, Sydney, we have taken over 500 pieces of denim that were diverted from landfill via the General Pants Denim Amnesty in 2019. This is only one way to source your denim for your designs, see the website for other sourcing suggestions.

FIRST IN BEST DRESSED.

Spots are by appointment only and maximum of one (1) hour. Book a spot, pay booking fee and come during your chosen time to collect as much denim as you like for.

The competition is free to enter. You will be notified that day if we have run out of denim. No guarantees on quantity or quality. Please book via Humanitix, we will not take bookings via email, phone or drop ins.

OFF-CUTS + WASTE.

To keep our waste out of landfill and from being shipped overseas we will give entrants a QR Code to be included with your design for this competition. We hope the "new" design's owner will be inspired to eventually get it back to us so we can include in our Circular Textile Waste Service.

We are unable to accept any other textile "waste" at this time except denim off-cuts from your designs associated with this Project.
