Circular Gardening at the Tuakau Museum - Dazzling Dahlias
Event description
A gathering for Tuakau locals and anyone interested in learning more about organic gardening
This month we'll be celebrating the end of the Dahlia season by making up some bouquets of flowers to take fun photos next to museum items.Â
If the weather is fine we may also plant some autumn flowers in the pollinator garden - all donations welcome.
Any questions? Please email me at katrina@blueborage.co.nz
What to bring:Â
- I'll have lots of little pots, soil and seeds, but if you are driving to the museum then it would be good to have something to keep your car tidy - maybe a small box or basket to hold your pots.
- Please wear covered shoes if you want to see the pollinator garden as there is still some broken glass in amongst the soil. Â
- Sunhat, water bottle, and please remember to put on some sunscreen in the morning.Â
- We probably won't go ahead if there's heavy rain - I'll send an email to people who have registered and text you on the morning if we need to postpone.Â
