    Event description

Creating forward momentum for progressing circular textiles along the whole value chain in South Australia.

Across business (SMEs, brands, retailers, startups), government (State and local), communities, in education, and in the not for profit and charitable sector, many are working towards different aspects of bringing about a circular textiles economy in South Australia.

Green Industries SA, the State government's lead agency for circular economy, is committed to advancing circular textiles in SA. Along with circular goals of retaining materials at 'highest and best use', there are great opportunities for employment, skills, net zero and just transition emerging through pursuing circular textiles.

This event will provide an overview of the state of play in SA, snapshots of key initiatives, and then move into an interactive format.

      Participant benefits include:

      • discovering who is doing what and how your work connects
      • ensuring your circular textiles concerns and challenges are heard and captured
      • developing your networks to progress your circular textiles initiatives

      Lunch and morning tea provided.

Please advise if you have any dietary requirements.
