Event description

In recognition of European Week for Waste Reduction, join experts within the waste sector to discuss the circular economy within Northern Ireland: on what they are doing to enhance the circular economy, and what needs to happen in the future. The Panel Event will take place in Lecture Room 2, Riddel Hall, from 9am to 10.30am

Facilitated by Keith Patterson, WRAP UK.

Panellists include:

  • Dr. Bronagh Millar - Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre
  • Rachel Hook - Head of Resources & Waste Strategy for the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA)
  • Dr Tim Walker, Chief Executive, Arc21
  • Ben Craig, Commerical Director, International Synergies

Breakfast will be provided from 9am, with the panel event commencing at 9:20am. Please email sustainability@qub.ac.uk with any dietary requirements. 

Please note that there is limited car parking available. While there may be on street parking along Stranmillis Road, we encourage you to commute via public transport or by foot/bicycle. Blue badge parking is available within Riddel Hall.
