The ReCreators are running an 8 week circular woodworking programme for rangatahi 10+ at The ReCreators Green Space. No class on 26 October

It’s a fun chance for your youth to build real handy skills and create cool projects for home or as gifts throughout the term. They’ll learn to use basic tools and make items like planter boxes, mini tables, foot stools, toolboxes and more.

Who is it for
Rangatahi 10+ who can listen well and follow instructions. Please share any behavioural needs the tutor should know.

What to bring
All materials supplied. Bring a water bottle and food.

Safety
Tool use is clearly demonstrated. Participants will work with drills, sanders, a jigsaw, hammers, nails and impact drivers.

Notes
• Covered shoes and fitted clothing required
• Some sessions may be outdoors so bring a sun hat and sunscreen
• Arrive on time for the safety briefing

When: Mondays, 19 Oct to 14 Dec, 4pm - 6pm

Where: The ReCreators Green Space, 135 Chamberlain Road

Important Notes:

• Parking: please note that we have parking available just inside the gate at Chamberlain Rd. Please do not drive past the gravel and onto the concrete area.
